80s Mania
Over 35 eighties chart hits with a live band and dance troupe, at Playhouse Whitley Bay.
About This Event
80s Mania is a full-scale party through more than 35 chart hits of the decade, with tribute performances of Duran Duran, The Human League, Kim Wilde, Culture Club, Madonna, Wham!, Nena, Toni Basil, Frankie Goes to Hollywood, Bananarama, Dead or Alive and Madness, among others. Former Radio 1 and Top of the Pops presenter Mike Read sums it up as Top of the Pops meets Live Aid, with the Legs 'n' Co dance troupe adding the moves. Big hair and leg warmers are actively encouraged. The show runs around two hours twenty minutes including an interval, under-14s must be accompanied by an adult, and a Suite Experience upgrade with a pre-show drink and a cheese and meat selection is available.
