The North Shields Christmas Market takes place across the weekend of Saturday 6 and Sunday 7 December 2026, running 10am to 5pm on the Saturday and 10am to 4pm on the Sunday. More than 75 stalls set up in and around Northumberland Square offering gifts, homeware, crafts and artisan products from local makers and traders. A pop-up food and drink village forms part of the market, with plenty of seating, mulled wine and a wide variety of street food. The market is free to enter and is a key date in the town's festive calendar, drawing shoppers from across North Tyneside.
