About Gutterball Alley

Gutterball Alley is a large bowling and games bar on Rotary Way in North Shields, a couple of minutes from Meadow Well Metro station, and the North Shields site of a small group that also runs venues in Lincoln, Ealing and Edinburgh. Alongside the bowling lanes there are arcades, darts, pool, mini golf, roller skating and karaoke, with a food and drink menu served throughout, all laid out on a single step-free floor with parking outside.

It is set up for groups as much as for families. Its Game Changer packages start from £13 a head off peak and pair bowling with a second activity, and the venue quotes bespoke packages for larger parties, including a festive one combining a game of bowling, an hour of another activity and a drink. Guests of all ages are welcome until 9pm, with under-18s supervised by an adult, after which the venue is over-18s only. Walk-ins are accepted but booking ahead is sensible at weekends.
