Royal Quays Marina
Sheltered marina in the Albert Edward Dock at North Shields, operated by boatfolk, offering annual and visitor berthing and boatyard services.
About Royal Quays Marina
Royal Quays Marina sits within the historic Albert Edward Dock at North Shields, on the north bank of the River Tyne. Operated by boatfolk, it provides annual and visitor berthing behind a lock gate, along with boatyard and maintenance facilities and berthing for commercial vessels. The marina monitors VHF Channel 80 and can be reached by phone for berthing enquiries.
The site is also a base for angling and special-interest charter boats and hosts events through the year, with dining available on site. It is a focal point for boating and watersports activity on this stretch of the Tyne and a landmark within the wider Royal Quays development.
