About The Linskill Centre
The Linskill Centre occupies a former school building near North Shields town centre and is a North Tyneside approved premises for civil marriages and civil partnerships. Its main wedding space is Trevelyan Hall, built in 1932, with high ceilings, tall original windows, parquet flooring, a stage, a private bar and its own foyer and outdoor area; it seats around 160 for a wedding breakfast.
A second room, Burnett Hall, suits smaller gatherings of about 100 guests, and the outdoor space has fixing points for a marquee. As a community-run venue it offers a flexible, good-value setting where couples can bring in their own suppliers.
