Christ Church is the Anglican parish church of North Shields, a Grade II listed building begun in the 1650s and consecrated in 1668, in the Diocese of Newcastle. It stands on Preston Road and remains an active parish church holding regular services and life events.

Couples wishing to marry at Christ Church should contact the parish office directly to discuss banns, dates and any qualifying connection to the parish. As one of the town's oldest buildings, it offers a traditional church setting with real local history.
